Understanding Gag Accuracy
In Toontown Rewritten (TTR) and Corporate Clash, nothing is more frustrating than a Cream Pie missing a Level 11 Cog when you needed it most. This calculator breaks down the math behind the game's accuracy formula (RNG) so you can strategize your boss battles effectively.
💡 The Golden Rule: 95% Cap
Except for specific scenarios (like hitting a Lured cog with Throw/Squirt), the maximum accuracy for any gag is capped at 95%. There is always a 1-in-20 chance your gag will miss, regardless of how experienced your Toon is.
The Formula
The standard accuracy formula used by this tool is:
Accuracy = Base Prop Acc + Track Experience - Target Defense + Bonuses
- Base Prop Acc: The inherent accuracy of the gag. Throw is 75%, Squirt is 95%, Drop is 50%.
- Track Experience: The highest level gag you have in that track. A maxed track gives a massive +60% boost.
- Target Defense: High-level Cogs are harder to hit. A Level 12 Cog has a defense rating of 55, which is subtracted from your accuracy.
- Bonuses: Hitting a cog with a previous gag in the same round applies a "Stun" bonus (usually +20%), significantly helping tracks like Drop.
Lure Mechanics
Lure is unique. If a Cog is Lured:
- Throw & Squirt: Benefit from a special "perfect hit" rule (though 100% is technically treated as guaranteed, some servers cap this differently).
- Drop: Cannot hit lured cogs (unless using specific prestiges in Corporate Clash).
- Sound: Does not wake up lured cogs but hits normally (Lure bonus does not apply to Sound).

Why does my Drop always miss? +
Drop has a low base accuracy of 50%. Even with max experience (+60), hitting a Lvl 12 Cog (-55 defense) results in only 55% accuracy. You must use a stun (have another toon hit the cog first) to add +20% or more to guarantee a hit.
Does Organic status increase accuracy? +
In standard TTR, Organic status increases damage (by 10%), not accuracy. However, in Corporate Clash, certain prestige bonuses may affect accuracy or stun rates.
What is "Stunning"? +
Stunning occurs when a gag successfully hits a cog. This applies a temporary accuracy bonus to all subsequent gags hitting that same cog in the same turn. This is why teams often use a weak squirt/sound gag before a heavy Drop.
