How to Use the Calculator
Using our Titan Quest skill calculator is straightforward and user-friendly. Follow these simple steps to create your perfect character build:
Step 1: Select Your Masteries
Begin by choosing your two masteries from the available options. In Titan Quest, you can select your first mastery at level 2 and your second mastery at level 8. Click on any mastery card to select it as your primary or secondary mastery. The calculator will automatically display your class name based on the combination you choose.
Step 2: Allocate Skill Points
Once you've selected your masteries, the skill trees will appear below. Each mastery has its own skill tree with various skills and their prerequisites. Use the + and - buttons next to each skill to allocate or remove points. The calculator enforces proper skill prerequisites, so you must invest in prerequisite skills before accessing higher-tier abilities.
Step 3: Monitor Your Resources
Keep an eye on the character stats panel at the bottom. This shows your total points spent, available points remaining, estimated character level, and quest points. In Titan Quest, you gain 2 skill points per level plus 3 additional points from quest rewards, giving you a total of 85 skill points at level 85.
Step 4: Save and Share
Once you're satisfied with your build, use the action buttons to save it for later reference, share it with friends, or export it for use in other tools. The calculator stores builds locally in your browser, so you can maintain multiple character concepts simultaneously.

Mastery Combinations and Strategy Tips
Titan Quest offers incredible depth through its mastery system, with each of the 45 possible class combinations offering unique gameplay experiences. Understanding how masteries complement each other is crucial for creating effective builds.
Popular Mastery Combinations
Some of the most effective and popular mastery combinations include the Conqueror (Warfare + Defense) for tanky melee builds, the Haruspex (Dream + Nature) for powerful pet summoning, and the Spellbinder (Earth + Spirit) for devastating elemental magic. Each combination has its own strengths and optimal playstyles.
Build Planning Strategy
When planning your build, consider your preferred playstyle first. Melee-focused builds benefit from masteries like Warfare and Defense, while caster builds excel with Earth, Storm, and Spirit. Pet-focused builds shine with Nature and Dream masteries. The key is understanding how different masteries synergize and complement each other's strengths while covering weaknesses.
Skill Point Allocation
Efficient skill point allocation is crucial for build success. Focus on key skills that define your character's identity, but don't neglect important prerequisites and passive abilities. Many players make the mistake of spreading points too thin across too many skills. Instead, focus on maximizing a few core abilities while ensuring you have adequate defenses and utility skills.
End-Game Considerations
Plan your build with end-game content in mind. Consider resist requirements, damage output needs, and survivability factors. The calculator helps you experiment with different approaches to find the optimal balance for your preferred content difficulty.
