Mastering the Economy of Sun Haven

Unlike traditional farming sims, Sun Haven replaces the stamina system with a magical Mana system. This completely changes how you scale your farm. Instead of being limited by how exhausted your character gets, you are limited by your Mana pool and your processing efficiency.

The Power of Rain Cloud

Watering crops manually with a rusty watering can is a trap for new players. As soon as possible, you should unlock the Rain Cloud spell. This spell waters a 5x1 grid of crops instantly for 20 Mana.

Mana Efficiency Math:
Rain Cloud Cost = 20 Mana per 5 Crops (4 Mana per crop).
If you have a farm of 100 crops, you only need 400 Max Mana to instantly water your entire farm every morning with zero time wasted.

Scaling Profits with the Skill Tree

In the Farming Skill Tree, nodes like Bountiful Harvest grant you a percentage chance to yield extra crops when harvesting. This is a pure, exponential profit multiplier because you are getting 2 crops for the price of 1 seed. Combining a high Yield Bonus with Artisan Processing (Jam Makers, Bakers Station) can turn a decent farm into an empire that generates tens of thousands of gold per week.

Should I process all my crops into Jam?

Yes, processing crops generally multiplies their base sell value significantly (around 1.5x to 2x). While it requires building multiple Jam Makers or Juicers, the return on investment for expensive crops like Watermelons or Pumpkins is astronomical.

Do crops die at the end of the season?

Yes. Just like Stardew Valley, when a new season begins, all crops from the previous season will wither and die. The calculator above factors in the 28-day seasonal limit to ensure you don't count a harvest that wouldn't have time to grow.
