About the Pokemon TCG Pocket Luck Calculator

This tool helps players of Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket understand the odds of pulling their favorite cards. Unlike simple simulators, this calculator uses the official drop rates from the Genetic Apex expansion to provide realistic estimates for deck building and collection planning.

How to Use

  • Select Target: Choose the rarity or specific type of card you are hunting for (e.g., a specific Immersive Rare like Mewtwo).
  • Player Type: Select if you are F2P (2 packs/day) or have the Premium Pass (3 packs/day) to see how long it will take.
  • Pack Slider: Adjust the number of packs to see how your probability increases with more attempts.

Understanding the Odds

Pokemon TCG Pocket uses a "slot-based" drop system. The 4th and 5th cards in a pack have different drop rates. For example, a Crown Rare (♛) has a 0.040% chance in the 4th slot and 0.160% in the 5th slot. Our calculator combines these probabilities to give you the exact chance per pack.

Tips for Efficient Collecting

Don't forget the Pack Point system! Every pack gives you 5 Pack Points. You can exchange these points for specific cards. For example, an Immersive Rare costs 500 points (100 packs). If your luck is bad, the points system guarantees you get the card eventually.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the odds of a God Pack? +
A "God Pack" in Pokemon TCG Pocket is a rare occurrence where all 5 cards are high rarity. The estimated probability is approximately 0.05%, or 1 in 2,000 packs.
Does the Premium Pass increase drop rates? +
No, the Premium Pass does not change the drop rates of individual packs. However, it gives you an extra pack every day, which increases your overall chances of finding rare cards over time.
How many packs for a Crown Rare? +
The chance of pulling a specific Crown Rare is very low (approx 0.2% per pack). On average, you might need to open around 500 packs to find one, though luck varies significantly.
