What is this calculator?

This advanced OSRS Slayer Task Calculator helps you determine the exact probability of receiving specific slayer tasks from any slayer master. Unlike basic calculators, this tool considers your combat level, slayer level, blocked tasks, and quest requirements to provide accurate probabilities.

The calculator uses the official task weighting system from Old School RuneScape, where each task has a specific weight that determines its assignment probability. Higher weight tasks are more likely to be assigned.

How Task Weighting Works

OSRS uses a weighting system where each possible task has a numerical weight. The probability of getting a specific task is calculated as: (Task Weight ÷ Sum of All Available Task Weights) × 100%

For example, if Abyssal Demons have a weight of 12 and the total weight of all your available tasks is 400, you have a 3% chance of getting Abyssal Demons as your next task.

Slayer Master Requirements

Each slayer master has different requirements and assigns different tasks:

• Turael/Aya: No requirements, easiest tasks
• Mazchna: 20 Combat level minimum
• Vannaka: 40 Combat level minimum
• Chaeldar: 70 Combat level, Lost City quest
• Konar: 75 Combat level, location-specific tasks
• Nieve/Steve: 85 Combat level
• Duradel: 100 Combat level, 50 Slayer level

Step 1: Select Your Slayer Master

Choose the slayer master you want to get tasks from. Make sure you meet the combat level and quest requirements. Each master assigns different tasks with varying difficulty levels.

Step 2: Enter Your Stats

Input your current combat level and slayer level. These determine which tasks you're eligible for. Higher levels unlock more challenging and rewarding tasks.

Step 3: Configure Blocked Tasks

Select any tasks you have blocked using slayer points. Blocked tasks are removed from the probability calculation, increasing the chances of getting other tasks.

Step 4: Calculate and Analyze

Click "Calculate Task Probabilities" to see your exact chances for each possible task. Use this information to plan your slayer training and optimize your experience rates.

Optimal Slayer Masters

For maximum experience and efficiency, use higher-level slayer masters. Duradel and Nieve/Steve offer the best tasks for experienced players, while Konar provides good experience with location restrictions and brimstone key rewards.

Task Blocking Strategy

Block tasks that are slow, unprofitable, or annoying. Common blocks include Spiritual Creatures, Steel/Iron Dragons, and Kraken (if you want faster tasks). Use your slayer points wisely on blocks that save the most time.

Experience Optimization

Focus on tasks that offer good experience rates and are profitable. Popular high-XP tasks include Abyssal Demons, Bloodvelds, Dagannoths, and Nechryaels. Consider using a cannon for faster completion.

Slayer Point Management

Every 10th, 50th, 100th, 250th, and 1000th task gives bonus slayer points. Use these points to unlock useful tasks, skip bad assignments, or block inefficient tasks. Plan your point spending carefully.
