Calculation Logic
The calculator simulates pulling on the banner 10,000 times based on your inputs. It strictly follows Honkai Star Rail's known probabilities:
- Character Banner: 0.6% base rate. Soft pity starts at pull 74, increasing linearly until hard pity at 90.
- Light Cone Banner: 0.8% base rate. Soft pity starts at pull 66, hard pity at 80.
- 50/50 Rule: Accounts for winning or losing the 50/50 (Char) or 75/25 (LC) and the guarantee that follows.
Stats Explained
Safe Cost: The amount of pulls needed to have a 99% chance of success. This is your "worst case scenario" protection.
Avg Cost: The mathematical average lucky pull. Most players will land somewhere near this number.
