Use Ultrasound to determine what is wrong with the patient.
The Ultimate Growtopia Surgery Guide & Simulator
Welcome to the Growtopia Surgery Simulator. In Growtopia, performing surgery is a highly profitable but incredibly risky venture. A single wrong move can kill the patient, losing you valuable Surg-E tools, skill points, and potential rewards like the coveted G-Virus or Surgeon skill unlocks. This web tool perfectly simulates the surgical engine so you can practice your tool combinations risk-free.
How the Surgery Mechanics Work
Every surgery involves managing five critical vitals while attempting to cure a hidden malady:
- Pulse & Temperature: The patient's pulse must remain between roughly 40 and 120. If it hits 0 or spikes too high, the patient dies. Temperature must stay near 98.6. Extreme temperatures cause the pulse to drop rapidly.
- Bleeding & Incisions: Making an incision (to access a shattered bone or tumor) increases bleeding. High bleeding causes the patient to lose pulse every turn. You must manage bleeding with a Sponge.
- Sleep (Anesthetic): Before making an incision, the patient must be put to sleep using Anesthetic. If they wake up while cut open, they will thrash, causing massive pulse drops and bleeding.
How to Use This Simulator
This SaaS-grade simulator lets you practice the exact steps needed for every malady.
- Select a Scenario: Choose "Random Malady" for a true test, or practice specific difficult surgeries like "Tumor" or "Shattered Bone" from the dropdown.
- Diagnose the Patient: Always start by clicking the Ultrasound tool. This reveals the hidden malady.
- Follow the Smart Assistant: Look at the blue Smart Assistant box. It analyzes the patient's vitals and malady in real-time, recommending the absolute safest next tool to use.
- Apply Tools: Click the tool buttons. Watch how a Scalpel increases incisions but drops sleep, or how a Transfusion boosts pulse.
- Finish the Surgery: A surgery is only successful if the malady is cured, Incisions are at 0 (use Stitches), Bleeding is 0 (use Sponge), and Pulse/Temp are stable.
Tips & Best Practices for Surgeon Skill
To become a Master Surgeon in Growtopia, memorize these rules:
- The Sponge is King: Sponges lower bleeding and slightly lower temperature. Never let bleeding get out of control. If you have 2 bleeding, use a sponge immediately before doing anything else.
- Anesthetic Management: A Scalpel drops the sleep meter significantly. Always ensure the patient is deeply asleep (over 30%) before cutting into them.
- Shattered vs. Broken: A Broken Bone is easy: just apply a Splint. A Shattered Bone is complex: You must use Anesthetic -> Scalpel (Incision) -> Pins -> Stitches. Do not confuse them!
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Defibrillating a Healthy Patient: The Defibrillator delivers a massive shock. Only use it if the pulse is crashing (below 30) or during a Cardiac Arrest. Using it at 80 Pulse will kill the patient.
- Forgetting to Stitch: You cannot finish a surgery if the patient is still open. Even if you fixed the tumor, leaving an incision at the end will result in a failure.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How do I fix a Shattered Bone in Growtopia?
To fix a shattered bone, you must first administer Anesthetic, then make an incision using a Scalpel. Once the incision is made, use Pins to fix the bone. Finally, close the wound using Stitches and clean up any bleeding with a Sponge.
When should I use the Defibrillator?
The Defibrillator should only be used when the patient's pulse drops to a critical level (usually below 30) or during a specific Heart Attack event. Using it on a healthy pulse can cause cardiac arrest.
Why is my patient losing pulse so fast?
Pulse drops rapidly if the patient is Bleeding, has a very high or low Temperature, or is experiencing Severe Trauma. Always prioritize stopping bleeding with a Sponge and regulating temp before attempting to fix the core malady.
