How to Use This Calculator
Welcome to the FFXIV Wondrous Tails Calculator. This tool removes the guesswork from Khloe's Journal by calculating the exact mathematical probability of getting 1, 2, or 3 lines based on your current board.
When should I shuffle?
The "Shuffle" mechanic (using Second Chance points) is only available when you have between 3 and 7 stickers. The most critical decision point is at exactly 7 stickers.
- Safe Zone: If you already have 1 line, we generally recommend you KEEP (don't shuffle), as you risk losing what you have.
- Dead Board: If you have 0 lines and the calculator shows a "Low Probability" for improving, you should SHUFFLE.
Can I shuffle at 9 stickers?
No. Once you place the 8th sticker, the board is locked. You must accept the rewards and get a new journal next week.
What is the "Ideal Pattern"?
There is no single shape. This calculator checks your specific layout against all 11,440 possible outcomes to find if your specific holes align with winning lines.
