Arise, Tarnished.

The Lands Between are unforgiving. Whether you are facing Malenia for the hundredth time or exploring the Realm of Shadow, a poorly optimized build is a death sentence. Wasting Rune Levels on the wrong stats or carrying too much weight will leave you "Maidenless" and defeated.

We created these Elden Ring Utilities to help you plan your journey to become Elden Lord. Calculate your exact damage output, optimize your fashion for Poise, and track the rune cost for your next level up.

⚔️ Build Optimization

Mastering Soft Caps & Scaling

In Elden Ring, dumping points into a stat gives diminishing returns. To maximize your character efficiency, you must understand "Soft Caps." Our calculators are programmed with the latest 1.10+ patch data to help you hit these specific breakpoints:

  • Vigor (The Golden Rule): The first soft cap is 40, but the most important is 60 Vigor. Going from 60 to 99 gives almost no health. Stop at 60.
  • Strength/Dexterity: For weapon damage, the major soft cap is 80. If you are two-handing a Strength weapon, you only need 54 Strength (because two-handing multiplies STR by 1.5x, taking you to the virtual cap of 80).
  • Mind/Endurance: Mind caps at 38 (one full blue flask). Endurance depends entirely on your equip load, which you can calculate with our Fashion Planner.

Poise Breakpoints & "Fat Rolling"

Armor isn't just about defense; it's about Poise. Poise determines if you get staggered when an enemy hits you. If you get staggered, you can't drink a flask or attack back.

For PvE, the magic number is 51 Poise. This allows you to tank one standard hit from most enemies without flinching. For PvP, players often aim for higher breakpoints like 88 or 101.

However, wearing heavy armor slows you down. If your Equip Load exceeds 70%, you will "Fat Roll" (slow, short dodge with few invincibility frames). Our Fashion Planner allows you to find the heaviest armor that hits 51 Poise while keeping your weight exactly at 69.9% for the perfect Medium Roll.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these tools updated for Shadow of the Erdtree?

Yes. We have updated our databases to include the new weapon types (Light Greatswords, Beast Claws) and armor sets found in the DLC.

How does the AR Calculator handle Split Damage?

Split Damage (e.g., Physical + Fire) often looks higher on paper but deals less damage in-game because it has to pass through two enemy defense stats. Our calculator shows raw AR, but keep in mind that pure Physical damage is often better against bosses with high resistances.

What is the "Meta" Rune Level for PvP?

The community generally agrees on Level 125 for duels and Level 150 for invasions/co-op. Planning your build to stop exactly at 150 ensures you will find the most multiplayer activity.
