Welcome to Hell, Nephalem.

Whether you are battling Lilith in Diablo 4 or farming Baal in Diablo 2 Resurrected, the Diablo series is defined by efficiency. You are fighting a war against RNG (Random Number Generation). To win, you need to understand the hidden math behind your build.

We created these Diablo Utilities to demystify the complex mechanics of Sanctuary. Calculate your Glyph XP grinding time, solve the "Lucky Hit" equation, and plan your classic skill trees without wasting a respec token.

Deep Dive: How "Lucky Hit" Actually Works

In Diablo 4, seeing "+10% Lucky Hit Chance" on your gloves does not mean you have a 10% chance to trigger an effect. It is a "bucket" system that multiplies three different numbers:

  • 1. Base Skill Coefficient: Every skill has a hidden base chance (e.g., Ice Shards might have 16%).
  • 2. Your Bonus Stats: This is the gear affix (+Lucky Hit Chance). It acts as a multiplier, not a flat addition.
  • 3. The Effect Chance: The aspect itself (e.g., "Lucky Hit: 5% chance to heal").

Our Lucky Hit Calculator does the math for you: (Base × (1 + Bonus)) × Effect. This prevents you from building around a proc that will almost never happen.

Diablo 2 Resurrected

The Art of D2R Synergies

Diablo 2 is ruthless. If you misplace your skill points, you only get 3 free respecs (one per difficulty) before you have to farm "Tokens of Absolution" from Hell bosses.

The key to high damage in D2R is Synergies. Putting points into "Fire Bolt" increases the damage of "Fire Ball." Our calculator visualizes these connections, helping you decide if you should max out your main skill first or spread points into synergies for mana efficiency.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Glyph Calculator updated for the latest Season?

Yes. The XP requirements for Glyphs (Level 1-21) have remained stable across recent patches. The calculator assumes you are running Nightmare Dungeons at the highest tier you can comfortably clear.

Does Lucky Hit Chance cap at 100%?

Yes, you cannot have more than a 100% chance to "proc" a Lucky Hit bucket. However, getting to 100% on fast-hitting skills like Whirlwind or Ice Shards is extremely difficult without specific gear optimization.

Does the D2R Planner include Patch 2.4 changes?

Yes, our planner accounts for the massive balance changes in Patch 2.4, including the buffs to Fist of the Heavens (FoHdin) and Fire Druid skills.
