Prepare to Die. (Then Calculate).

Dark Souls is defined by its brutal difficulty and obscure mechanics. One wasted level in "Resistance" or a poorly infused weapon can ruin a 50-hour playthrough. In the Kingdom of Lothric, knowledge is your only shield against hollowing.

We created these Dark Souls Utilities to help you survive. Optimize your Soul Level 120 PvP build to perfection or generate iconic "Orange Soapstone" messages to meme with your friends.

Mastering the Soft Caps (Dark Souls 3)

To build a viable character for PvP or New Game+, you cannot just level up stats randomly. You must respect the "Soft Caps"β€”the points where leveling a stat gives diminishing returns. Our Build Calculator highlights these breakpoints:

  • Vigor (HP): The golden number is 27 Vigor (gives 1000 HP). The next cap is roughly 40. Never go to 99; it is a waste of souls.
  • Endurance (Stamina): Hard cap is at 40 Endurance. Leveling past 40 gives almost zero extra stamina.
  • Strength (The 66 Rule): If you two-hand your weapon, your Strength is multiplied by 1.5x. Therefore, 66 Strength effectively becomes 99. Stopping at 66 saves you 33 levels for other stats!

The Culture of Messages

The "Orange Guidance Soapstone" is one of the most unique multiplayer features in gaming history. It allows players to leave helpful hints ("Illusionary Wall Ahead") or troll other players ("Try Jumping").

Our Text Generator recreates this experience perfectly. It uses the specific serif font found in the game's UI and overlays it on the classic parchment background. It is perfect for creating thumbnails, memes, or sending cryptic messages to your fellow Undead.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the PvP Meta Level for Dark Souls 3?

The community standard is Soul Level 120 (SL120) or sometimes SL125. If you level higher than this (e.g., SL150+), you will find significantly fewer invasions and duels at Pontiff Sulyvahn.

Does the Build Planner calculate Equip Load?

Yes. It sums the weight of your Armor, Weapons, and Rings. It will warn you if you exceed 70.0% Equip Load, which causes the dreaded "Fat Roll." Ideally, aim for 69.9% or lower.
