Optimization Tips
- Scaling vs. Flat Damage: Early game, flat damage items (like "Damage +5%") provide the biggest boost. Late game, for weapons with high scaling (like 1.5x Melee), pumping your primary stat (Melee/Ranged) becomes far more efficient.
- The Armor Cap Myth: There is no hard cap on armor, but it has diminishing returns on the percentage reduced. However, it scales linearly for Effective HP. 15 Armor is often a sweet spot for most runs.
- Attack Speed Breakpoints: Be careful not to overinvest in Attack Speed if you are using slow weapons. Check the DPS meter as you add coffee—sometimes the returns diminish rapidly.
