About Balatro Score Calculator

Mastering Balatro requires understanding the complex interplay between hand levels, card enhancements, and Joker multipliers. This Balatro Score Calculator is designed to help you predict your score accurately before you play a hand. Whether you're trying to beat a high blind or optimizing your deck for the endless mode, this tool provides the precision you need.

How to Use

  • Select Hand Type: Choose the poker hand you are playing (e.g., Flush, Full House) and set its level.
  • Add Played Cards: Input the specific cards you are playing. Don't forget to set their enhancements (Glass, Stone, etc.) and editions (Foil, Polychrome).
  • Add Held Cards: If you have Steel cards or other in-hand effects, add them to the "Held Cards" section.
  • Joker Totals: Sum up the +Chips, +Mult, and X Mult from your Jokers and enter them in the Joker Totals section.
  • View Result: The calculator updates instantly to show your final Chips, Mult, and Total Score.

Tips for High Scores

To reach scientific notation scores (e.g., 1.5e12), focus on X Mult (multiplicative multipliers). Polychrome cards, Glass cards, and Jokers that multiply your Mult are essential. Also, don't underestimate the power of Red Seals on cards with enhancements—they trigger the effect twice!

Frequently Asked Questions

How are Balatro scores calculated?
Score = Chips × Mult. Chips are calculated by adding the base chips of the hand, the value of each played card, and any bonus chips from Jokers or enhancements. Mult is calculated by adding the base mult of the hand, card mults, and Joker mults, then multiplying by any X Mult effects.
Does this calculator support Red Seals?
Yes! When you add a card, you can select the "Red Seal" option. The calculator will correctly trigger that card's scoring twice.
What about Stone cards?
Stone cards are supported. They add +50 chips and have no rank or suit. Select "Stone" in the enhancement dropdown.
