About this ACNH Turnip Price Predictor
Welcome to the most advanced, privacy-first Animal Crossing: New Horizons Turnip Calculator. This tool helps you dominate the Stalk Market by predicting Daisy Mae's and Timmy & Tommy's buying and selling prices with high precision.
How It Works
Turnip prices in New Horizons aren't random. They follow a specific logical code (pseudo-random number generation) with four distinct patterns: Fluctuating, Large Spike, Decreasing, and Small Spike. By entering your daily prices, our algorithm reverse-engineers the possible seeds to show you exactly what your price range will be for the rest of the week.
We simulate every single valid possibility hundreds of times to construct a "Profit Graph" that shows your guaranteed minimum and potential maximum for every 12-hour window.
The 4 Price Patterns Explained
- Large Spike (The Jackpot): Prices dip early in the week, then skyrocket to 200-660 Bells. This is the pattern everyone wants. It typically peaks on Wednesday or Thursday.
- Small Spike: A modest profit pattern peaking around 150-200 Bells. Good for a quick sale if you missed a large spike. It follows a similar "dip then rise" curve but much shallower.
- Decreasing: Prices drop consistently all week, starting around 80-90 bells and ending near 30 bells. If you see this pattern confirmed by Thursday PM, you should sell on a friend's island immediately!
- Fluctuating: Prices bounce up and down randomly (approx 70-140 Bells). Hard to predict exactly, but generally offers safe, small profits if you time it right.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Ignoring Sunday Prices: The Buy Price (Sunday) is the base for the entire week's calculation. Guessing this number can make the prediction algorithm fail or give wide ranges.
- Time Traveling with Turnips: If you Time Travel backwards even one minute, your turnips will instantly rot. If you travel past the coming Sunday, they also rot.
- Missing Price Checks: Prices change at 12:00 PM (Noon). If you only check at 1:00 PM, you've missed the AM price. Try to check once in the morning and once in the evening for best accuracy.
Tips for Maximum Bells
Always buy turnips on Sunday morning. Track your prices twice a day (AM is before 12:00 PM, PM is after). If our calculator detects a "Decreasing" pattern by Thursday, visit a friend's island immediately!
FAQ
Why are the predictions ranges?
Until we have enough data points (usually by Wednesday or Thursday), multiple patterns are mathematically possible. We show the full range of possibilities so you know the absolute minimum ("Safe Price") and maximum.
Do I need to check prices twice a day?
Yes! Nook's Cranny updates turnip prices exactly at 12:00 PM. Missing a price check can significantly reduce prediction accuracy.
What does 'Guaranteed Minimum' mean?
This is the absolute lowest price possible given your inputs. You will not see a price lower than this, assuming your inputs are correct. It helps in deciding your "Safe Exit" strategy.
